Tesla Model Y Price In India:  Tesla, the world’s second-largest electric car manufacturer, made its official entry into the Indian market today with the opening of its first showroom in BKC, Mumbai. The Tesla Model Y has also been launched in the country with a price tag starting from Rs 59.89 lakhs (Ex-showroom). Tesla Model Y: Range

Tesla Model Y is an all-electric compact SUV, and it is the brand’s highest-selling model globally. The Model Y is offered in two variants globally: the standard variant with a 60 kWh LFP battery, and the Long Range/performance variant with a 75 kWh NMC battery. The standard variants have a claimed range of up to 499 kilometers once fully charged. Whereas the Long Range/performance variants have a claimed range of up to 622 kilometers.

Tesla Model Y: Features

The Tesla Model Y is one of the most technologically advanced electric SUVs in the world. The SUV comes equipped with a 15.4-inch touchscreen inside the cabin, which controls most functions in the car. It also gets a panoramic glass sunroof and an electrical liftgate. The Model Y boasts some of the most advanced ADAS features, which include a blind spot monitor, lane keep assist, and more.

Tesla Model Y Price In India

The prices for the Model Y in India have been revealed on Tesla India’s official website. The Tesla Model Y will have a starting price of Rs 59.89 lakhs (Ex-showroom) for the standard rear-wheel drive variant. Whereas, the long-range rear-wheel drive variant is priced at Rs 67.89 lakhs (Ex-showroom). Deliveries of the Tesla Model Y are expected to start in the third quarter of 2025.
