Tesla Autopilot India:  Tesla began its official journey in India with the opening of its first showroom in Mumbai. The brand has also launched its first car, the Model Y, in the country with prices starting from Rs 59.89 lakhs (Ex-showroom). Tesla Autopilot remains one of the most popular features offered with the brand’s cars. Now that the brand has launched its first car in the country, most Tesla fans are waiting for the brand to roll out its Autopilot feature to the Model Y in India. But do you know that buyers will need to pay a hefty price to use this feature?

Tesla Model Y: Price In India

The Tesla Model Y has been launched with two variants on offer in the country. The standard variant of the SUV will come equipped with a 60 kWh battery, and it has a claimed range of up to 499 kilometers once fully charged. The long-range variant, on the other hand, will come equipped with a 75 kWh battery, and it has a claimed range of up to 622 kilometers once fully charged. While the standard variant has a price of Rs 59.89 lakhs (Ex-showroom), the long-range variant is priced at Rs 67.89 lakhs (Ex-showroom).

Tesla Autopilot India: Is It Here?

The Tesla Autopilot is currently not available in the country. However, it has been listed as an add-on feature on the official website of the brand. As per the official website of the company, Tesla Autopilot will soon be rolled out, and buyers’ cars will be updated with the feature. However, it doesn’t come included in the cost of the car, and buyers can opt for it by paying Rs 6 lakhs.
