Toyota Fortuner Price Hike:  Toyota has hiked prices for one of its most popular SUV offerings, the Fortuner, in India. Its prices have been hiked by up to Rs 68,000, which applies to all the diesel and petrol variants of the SUV. The Legender and GR-S variants of the Fortuner, on the other hand, have seen a price hike of up to Rs 40,000.

Toyota Fortuner Price Hike: New Prices.

Toyota Fortuner’s entry-level 2.7-litre 4x2 manual trim will now be available for Rs 36.05 lakhs after the price hike. The 2.8-litre 4x2 diesel manual variant will now cost Rs 36.73 lakhs, whereas the automatic diesel trim will now be available at Rs 39.01 lakhs. The Diesel 4x4 manual will now cost Rs 40.83 lakhs, and prices for the recently launched hybrid variant remain unchanged at Rs 44.72 lakhs. The Legender variant will now be priced at Rs 48.49 lakhs, and the GR-S variant of the SUV will be available at Rs 52.34 lakhs. All of the prices mentioned here are Ex-showroom prices of the SUV.

Toyota Fortuner: Engine And Power

Toyota Fortuner has a total of 3 powertrains on offer, which include a 2.7-litre petrol engine, along with a 2.8-litre diesel engine, and a mild hybrid powertrain. The 2.8-litre diesel engine is available with 4x2 and 4x4 configurations, and it generates 201 bhp and 420 Nm of Torque. The 2.7-litre petrol engine, on the other hand, is also available in 4x2 and 4x4 configurations, and it generates 164 bhp and 245 Nm of torque. The Mild hybrid powertrain of the Fortuner includes a 48V electric setup with a 2.8-litre diesel engine that generates 204 bhp and 500 Nm of torque.
