TVS Creon Electric Scooter To Be Launched On August 23 With TFT Display, Smartwatch Connectivity And More

Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has released new teasers of its upcoming all-electric scooter TVS Creon, which is scheduled for a global launch on August 23, 2023. TFT screen and smartwatch-based features are anticipated in the Creon e-scooter. As seen in the teaser, the instrument console has been replaced with a full-colour TFT display in the Creon. The brief preview showcases a range of information and customisation choices for the user interface. The Ola S1 Pro in the segment has already shown how personalisation choices increase a product's appeal to customers.

A second teaser posted on TVS' social media accounts reveals connected features like remote access which will let you access the boot, vehicle locking and unlocking enabled through a smartwatch.

The battery pack, range and electric motor's specifications for power have not been revealed yet. However, as the model makes its debut internationally the following week, we expect to have full details soon.

In earlier teasers, the electric scooter also featured a sporty shape and an LED headlamp that was stacked vertically, similar to the Creon concept. It will be interesting to see if TVS chooses to use the concept name on the production model or goes with a different one.

TVS Creon Scooter: Prices

Price expectations for the new TVS electric scooter are between Rs 1.5 and 1.7 lakh (ex-showroom, after subsidies), and it will be positioned above the iQube in the company's portfolio. The model will compete in the segment against competitors like the Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X and Simple One.
