VinFast Discounts In India: VinFast, the Vietnamese car manufacturer, is offering massive discounts on its electric cars and electric scooters amid the Iran-Israel war. The initiative by VinFast is called ‘Trade Gas for Electric’, and it is being rolled out simultaneously in India, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Notably, the brand offers the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in the country.
Iran-Israel War And Fuel Prices
The ongoing Iran-Israel war has disrupted the oil supplies globally, and fuel prices remain unpredictable. Fuel prices across South Asian countries are witnessing sharp differences as different countries are struggling due to the fallout of the ongoing war. India is the world’s third-largest oil importer, and the fuel prices remain unchanged in the country. However, as per a report by The Times of India, Pakistan has recently announced a steep increase in the retail fuel prices, and Bangladesh is struggling with the fuel supply.

VinFast’s ‘Trade Gas For Electric’ Program
As informed earlier, the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, VinFast, has announced the ‘Trade Gas for Electric’ program, offering discounts on its electric vehicles amid uncertain fuel prices. Notably, the program will offer benefits in parallel with other available incentive programs in India, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam markets.

Trade Gas for Electric Program: How Much You Can Save?
Under the VinFast ‘Trade Gas for Electric Program’, benefits will be offered to consumers seeking the replacement of their old petrol-powered vehicles with the new VinFast electric car or scooters. Prospective buyers choosing the brand’s electric cars will be offered an additional 3 percent price reduction, whereas those choosing electric scooters can enjoy an additional 5 percent price reduction. Notably, these benefits will be offered with other ongoing incentive programs in the respective markets, which might make the brand’s EV offerings more attractive.
