VinFast VF6 And VF7 Launch Soon, Brand Showcases Its Electric SUVs In Major Shopping Centres Across India

VinFast India Launch:  VinFast, a Vietnamese electric car brand, is all set to launch its all-electric SUVs, the VF6 and VF7, in India. The brand is showcasing both of these cars at major shopping centres across the country. Here we are sharing all the information about the upcoming VinFast VF6 and VF7 electric cars in India.

VinFast Showcases VF6 And VF7

The Vietnamese car brand showcased all of its cars during the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 in January this year. Now, the brand is showcasing both of these cars across 11 cities in the country, and this is the first time that the VF6 and VF7 are being showcased publicly. Visitors can experience the design, features, and technologies offered with the VinFast VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs. The list of cities and locations is being shared here in the table.

VinFast VF6 and VF7: Launch

VinFast officially announced its entry into the country at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, and the brand has also officially confirmed the launch timeline for its upcoming VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs. The VinFast VF7 will be the first car by the brand in India, and it is expected to break cover by September 2025. The VF6 will be launched after the VF7, and it is expected to make its debut by the end of 2025. The brand is also developing a manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, and it recently announced a collaboration with Global Assure, which is known to provide customer assistance services in India.

Vinfast VF6 Specifications

The VinFast VF6 is a compact all-electric SUV, and it comes equipped with a 59.6 kWh battery. The VF6 by VinFast has a claimed range of up to 399 Kilometers, once fully charged. The powertrain on VF6 can generate 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque, and it is offered in two variants: the Eco and the Plus. The 5-seater compact SUV by VinFast comes equipped with features like Level 2 ADAS, a 12.9-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, V-face LED DRLs, ABS with EBD, and a Panoramic Sunroof.

VinFast VF7 Specifications

The VinFast VF7 is also available in two variants: the Eco and the Plus. While the Eco trim has a front wheel drive configuration, the Plus variant of the car comes equipped with an all-wheel drive configuration. The VF7 draws its power from a 75.3 kWh battery, and it generates 349 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The all-electric SUV offers a range of up to 450 Km, once fully charged. It also comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS, a 15-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, Alloy wheels, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, and a panoramic sunroof.
