Nissan Tekton Viral Video:  The Nissan Tekton is set to be launched in India in 2026, and currently, it is being tested against different road conditions in India. However, a video of the Nissan Tekton is going viral on the social media platform Instagram, and it features the test mule of the Nissan Tekton being rescued by a Maruti Suzuki Gypsy. Nissan Tekton Rescued: Viral Video

The video was posted on the social media platform Instagram by a page named ‘Manali_Packages’. The video features a heavily disguised Nissan Tekton test mule in the snow, and the Maruti Suzuki Gypsy rescuing it. The incident reportedly happened somewhere near Rohtang Pass. The video was also featuring a caption which read ‘Himachal Police Might Not Be Available Everywhere, You Should Also Not Make This Mistake’.

Nissan Tekton: Features

The Tekton by Nissan shares its CMF-B platform with the upcoming Renault Duster. The brand has not yet revealed any details regarding the interior of the Nissan Tekton. However, the upcoming Nissan C-segment SUV in India is anticipated to feature a larger 10.1-inch touch screen infotainment system with a 7-inch fully digital driver’s display. It is also expected to come equipped with features such as a 360-degree camera, multiple driver modes, rear AC vents, and an automatic climate control system.

Nissan Tekton: Powertrain

As per a report by Autocar Professional, the Nissan Tekton will draw its power from the 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine, which will be mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The engine is capable of generating a peak power and torque output of 154 hp and 250 Nm, respectively. The Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos rival, Nissan Tekton, is expected to be launched in India by mid-2026.
