Amrit Bharat Train Update: Bihar is set to receive another Amrit Bharat Express train soon, further enhancing rail connectivity in the poll-bound state. Indian Railways is set to roll out the Muzaffarpur-Hyderabad Amrit Bharat train with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to flag off the train from Patna in late September.

In another update, the Muzaffarpur-Hyderabad Amrit Bharat train has been extended to Cherlapalli station, approximately 110 kilometres beyond Hyderabad, Jagran.com reported. Earlier this month, the Muzaffarpur-Hyderabad Amrit Bharat train was expected to be flagged by PM Modi in an event on September 15. However, due to the decision to extend the route to Cherlapalli, the launch of Muzaffarpur-Hyderabad Amrit Bharat has been delayed.

Details About Muzaffarpur-Hyderabad (Now Cherlapalli) Amrit Bharat Train

- The Muzaffarpur-Hyderabad Amrit Bharat train was initially announced to run from Muzaffarpur to Hyderabad.

- The Muzaffarpur-Hyderabad Amrit Bharat train will now be extended to Cherlapalli, which is approximately 110 km beyond Hyderabad.

- Preparations are underway for the extended route to Cherlapalli, and the train’s rake has been stationed in Cherlapalli.

- The train is likely to be flagged off by PM Modi between September 20 and 30. Initially, it was expected to be flagged off by the Prime Minister on September 15.

In a bid to enhance rail connectivity across various states in the poll-bound state, the Indian Railways is set to introduce four more Amrit Bharat trains in Bihar. Additionally, PM Modi is scheduled to flag off four express trains, including a Vande Bharat and two Amrit Bharat trains, on September 15.

Amrit Bharat Trains Connecting Bihar To Major Cities:

As many as eight Amrit Bharat Express trains either originate from Bihar or pass through the poll-bound state, enhancing connectivity and improving passenger convenience. The trains are: Darbhanga-Anand Vihar Terminal, Saharsa-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Rajendranagar Terminal-New Delhi, Bapudham Motihari-Anand Vihar Terminal, Darbhanga-Gomtinagar, Malda Town-Gomtinagar, Sitamarhi-Delhi and Gaya-Delhi.
