Bihar Board To Launch Online Certificate Verification System From 2026, Employers To Get Instant Access

The Bihar School Examination Board is set to make its certificate verification process online from 2026.  The main objective of this initiative is to increase transparency and improve the speed of service. 

The board's chairman, Anand Kishore, stated that the verification process will now be conducted online, eliminating the need to face long waits.

Previously, for verification required for employment or other purposes, the relevant institution would contact the board office by post, making the process time-consuming. The process was further slowed down by paperwork and manual checks. 

Under the new system, employers or educational institutions will have to request verification from the board directly via an online portal. The board will then carry out the verification, which will now take significantly less time than before.

Work is underway at the board level to develop this digital system. The verification system will also ensure the security and authenticity of the documents.
