Bihar Politics: In a major update, the Bihar government will transfer Rs 10,000 to beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana on Friday. Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar, while providing details, stated that the fund to all the beneficiaries will be transferred in phases by December 14. The minister further stated that all the eligible Jeevika Didis will get benefits, adding that the government is also likely to announce multiple schemes in the upcoming months for the women. Earlier during the campaign for the assembly election, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stated that the scheme will boost the employment in the state.
While providing details, Shravan Kumar stated that Rs 10,000 rupees will be sent to the accounts of 10 lakh women on November 28. He further stated that the chief minister will transfer the money directly through DBT to the bank accounts of 9.50 lakh women in rural areas and 50,000 women in urban areas associated with the Jeevika group. He further stated that after all the women associated with the Jeevika group receive the amount, the remaining beneficiaries will also get the benefit.
The minister further stated that funds will be transferred to all the women who filled out the Chief Minister's Employment Scheme form. Kumar added that all the beneficiaries will receive Rs 10,000 each by December, adding that the amount is also likely to be increased in the upcoming years.
In a separate news, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has intensified reviews of major infrastructure projects. On Wednesday, he inspected the ongoing construction of the Danapur-Bihta elevated corridor and the Sherpur-Dighwara Ganga bridge, directing officials to expedite work on both projects.

The Chief Minister said the completion of the elevated corridor will significantly ease traffic between Bihta and Koilwar, providing Patna with a direct link to NH-922 and the Koilwar bridge.
