Residents of Patna can look forward to a new hub for entertainment, fitness, and commercial activities as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to inaugurate the Maurya Mandapam and a gym in the Mauryalok complex on Monday. The Rs 15-crore project, undertaken by Patna Smart City Limited, includes the renovation of the Mauryalok complex and Maurya Tower, along with the introduction of modern facilities designed to cater to the city’s social, cultural, and business needs.
Animesh Kumar Parashar, Managing Director of Patna Smart City, stated that eco-friendly, modern light-gauge steel framing technology was used throughout the project, offering faster construction and greater durability compared to traditional methods.

Key Features of the Project:
-Rooftop Multi-Purpose Hall: A 12,000 sq ft hall on the roof of A-Block, built with a pre-fabricated structure, will host social and cultural events. The pillar-free hall has an insulated roof that keeps the temperature around 10°C lower than outside, making it ideal for weddings, parties, and corporate events.
-State-of-the-Art Multiplex: A two-screen multiplex, each accommodating 40 viewers, is equipped with advanced audio-visual systems.
-Fine Dining Restaurant: A theme-based restaurant covering 6,000 sq ft on the same floor as the multiplex, seating 80 people.
-Gym and Yoga Centre: Located on the roof of B-Block, over 8,000 sq ft, featuring modern fitness and yoga equipment.
-Commercial Office Space: The sixth and seventh floors of Maurya Tower now offer 24,000 sq ft of modern office facilities.

-Beautification and Infrastructure: Swami Vivekananda Park has been developed, internal roads and manholes repaired and asphalted, and the entire complex enhanced with new lighting, painting, and plantation.
With these developments, the Maurya Mandapam complex is poised to become a major destination for entertainment, wellness, dining, and business activities in Patna.
