Bihar Election 2025 LIVE Updates: Today is the eighth and final day of nominations for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly Election 2025. It is expected that candidates from all parties will file their nominations before the first phase of nominations ends today.

The Grand Alliance (RJD-led Mahagathbandhan alliance) has not yet finalised seat allocations, but parties have begun assigning symbols to their candidates. Congress released the first list of 48 candidates for the upcoming polls late on Thursday night.

In the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), BJP and the JDU will contest on 101 seats each. BJP on Wednesday night released its final list of candidates. It has announced candidates for all 101 seats. JDU has also declared all of its 101 nominees for the elections per the seat-sharing setup.

The Bihar Election 2025 is scheduled to be held in two phases - November 6 and November 11, with results being announced on November 14.
