Bihar Election Result: Days after receiving a humiliating result in the Bihar Assembly polls, Jan Suraaj's founder, Prashant Kishor, has alleged that the final results do not match with the response he got while campaigning. The poll strategist-turned-politician claimed that he found several irregularities in the results; however, he emphasised that there is no solid proof to back his claims. Kishor further stated that several factors, including the transfer of Rs 10,000 to the women (for self-employment) and fear of an alleged 'Jungleraaj', led to the Nitish Kumar-led NDA's landslide victory.
While talking about the results in an interview, Kishor emphasised that the voting trends do not match the response he received on the ground. He also explained that his party was expected to get between 10 and 20 per cent of the vote; however, the voters changed their minds at the last moment due to Jan Suraaj's thin chances to emerge victorious. He also clarified that the Jan Suraaj will strengthen its organisation in the upcoming months to prepare itself for the next elections.

Kishor also replied to those questioning his future after this massive setback by stating that one loss would not define his destiny. He further stated that the people criticising him are more curious to know about his next steps. "The people who are writing my political obituary today are the same people who applauded my victories. The truth is, the people who criticize me are the ones who are most curious about me. This means I'm not finished yet. The story is still on," Kishor emphasised.
Even after an extensive campaign, especially on social media, Jan Suraaj could not appeal to the voters, as the party failed to open its account in its first attempt. Prashant Kishor stated that the party would introspect the reasons behind the loss, adding that he will keep the issues of the residents of the state.
