Bihar Cabinet Ministers: Union Minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) founder Jitan Ram Manjhi on Monday spoke about the likely shape of the new NDA ministry in Bihar. He said the incoming cabinet may have 35–36 ministers, 15–16 from BJP, 14–15 from JD(U), three from LJP (Ram Vilas), and one each from HAM and RLSP.

Manjhi, however, clarified that no one has spoken to his party yet about the cabinet. “Whatever is being discussed is based only on newspaper reports and media information,” he added.

When asked about his demand for portfolios, Manjhi said he has never demanded any ministry in the past and has always worked with whatever responsibility was given. “This time too, we have no demand,” he stated.

Commenting on NDA’s massive majority, Manjhi said women wholeheartedly accepted Nitish Kumar’s work and Prime Minister Modi’s support. “We were expecting 160–180 seats, but no one thought we would cross 200,” he added.

On Rohini Acharya's exit from the Lalu family home, Manjhi called it painful. “Tejashwi first threw out his elder brother Tej Pratap and now the sister who donated a kidney. The people of Bihar will not tolerate this,” he said.

Nitish Symbol of Good Governance Across Country: Umesh Kushwaha

JD(U) state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha said on Monday that Nitish Kumar is the symbol of good governance in the entire country. He took Bihar out of the darkness of misrule and placed it on the heights of development and progress — something considered impossible in the earlier regime.

The JD(U) leader said the Nitish government rekindled hope and trust among people who had lost all faith. That is why, even after two decades of historic and unprecedented good governance, the people of Bihar have once again reposed massive faith in Nitish Kumar and entrusted him with leadership responsibility.

He added that the opposition used every trick, lies and propaganda, to mislead people, but in the end the result came in favour of truth and good governance. This proves that people’s unbreakable trust in Nitish Kumar not only remains intact but is growing stronger with each passing day.
