In a parallel move, the Home Department has also given administrative approval for the purchase of 43 small cars under the Bihar Fire Service. A budget of Rs 6.12 crore has been cleared for this initiative. These vehicles will be allocated to assistant state fire officers, newly appointed district fire officers, and senior officials. Specifically, one car each will be provided to the State Fire Consultant and Advisor, four to additional directors-cum-assistants, and 38 to senior district fire officers.

Officials believe that active citizen participation will help identify real-time challenges and improve road infrastructure planning and execution. The initiative is part of a broader effort to make road travel safer and more efficient for the public.
