Bihar Polls: The result for the much-hyped Bihar Assembly election will be announced on November 14 after a tireless campaign by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and Mahagathbandhan. While the Nitish Kumar-led ruling alliance will try to repeat its government, the opposition under the leadership of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is eying to form a government in the state after a decade. Most of the exit polls have predicted that the NDA will win the election comfortably; however, some of the agencies have predicted a close contest.

One of the key factors behind the final tally of the Mahagathbandhan will be the performance of Congress, the second largest party of the alliance after RJD. While the grand old party is contesting 53 out of the 243 seats, several leaders claimed that the party should have contested more seats, reported Jagran.Com. Apart from this, several regional leaders have also reportedly expressed their dissatisfaction with the current state leadership.

The regional leaders are reportedly accusing the party of sidelining local leaders in the key responsibilities, including ticket distribution and campaigning. One of the leaders stated that in order to promote "imported" leaders, the Congress has sidelined the party's old leaders and workers.

Apart from this, the leaders have also expressed displeasure by stating that the selection process of the candidates ignored ground realities, resulting in negligence of many strong candidates. They further claimed that the weaker candidates were given the opportunity based on "false" surveys, reported Jagran.Com.
