Bihar Railway News: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Wednesday confirmed that another Amrit Bharat train will operate between Bihar's Gaya and New Delhi. While responding to a letter from MP Bhim Singh, the union minister stated that operation of Amrit Bharat Express train numbers 13697 and 13698 has been approved. Vaishnaw stated that operation of the Amrit Bharat train between the two key cities will significantly boost the connectivity. He further stated that the operation of the train will provide relief to thousands of passengers by cutting the travel time significantly. Apart from improving the connectivity, the train will also boost the tourism sector, as Gaya is a prominent religious site for the Hindus and Buddhists.

While thanking the union minister, Singh stated that the train will significantly provide relief if the operation starts during the upcoming festivals. He further stated that the operation of the Amrit Bharat train equipped with modern facilities will facilitate people on their journey. Apart from the train between Delhi and Gaya, the MP has demanded two more trains, including the Danapur-Udhna Express, which is currently weekly, to become daily, and a new train between Gaya and Surat.

Earlier on August 30, the railway announced that it will operate special festival trains from Sealdah to Patna in the upcoming months to manage the crowd. The authority stated that the additional trains will operate during Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath to provide convenience to the passengers.

The authority stated that the decision was taken after receiving multiple requests from the passengers, adding that the move will benefit the residents of several states, including West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Bihar. The authority has advised the passengers to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.
