The Election Commission has published the draft voter list for the Bihar assembly elections on its official website, following a special intensive revision. Voters can verify their names and those of their relatives by:
- Contacting their Booth Level Officer (BLO)
- Visiting their designated polling booth starting Saturday
The draft voter list is now available online and offline both.
- Online: On the Election Commission's official website ( https://voters.eci.gov.in)
- Offline: At all 90,000 polling booths across Bihar
This publication of the revised voter list is under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), Para 7(4) and page 3 order, ensuring transparency and accuracy in the electoral process. The voter list will be available on https://voters.eci.gov.in/download-eroll?stateCode=S04 from 3 pm onwards. Along with this, voters can check their names on https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/ and https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/pollingstation.
The Election Commission has already sent the online and physical versions of the draft to all the recognised political parties through District Election Officers (DEO) in all 38 districts of the state before publishing the draft on its website.
The commission has invited objections and claim applications from August 1 2025, to September 1 2025, from individuals and political parties. Eligible voters who have not been included in the list can now apply for inclusion of their name, deletion of ineligible names, or correction of entries.
Special Campaigns From August 2 To Address Grievances
Special camps will be organised daily from August 2 at all block offices and municipal bodies (nagar panchayat, nagar parishad, nagar nigam) in the state. During this period, voters can submit applications for claims and objections from 10 am to 5 pm.
Eligible Citizens Can Apply For:
- Inclusion of Name: Citizens whose names are not included in the draft list can submit Form 6 with a declaration and supporting documents.
- Transfer or Modification: Voters can submit Form 8 with the necessary documents to transfer or modify their names.
- Objections: Citizens can file objections against fake or incorrect voter registrations using Form 7.
Now apply for name transfer. The commission's directive for special camps states that eligible citizens whose names are not included in the draft list, or those who turn 18 on July 1, 2025, can submit Form 6 along with a declaration and supporting documents.
In the special camps, voters can submit Form 8 with the necessary documents for name transfer or modification. Applicants outside Bihar will also need to attach a declaration with Form 8.
Those objecting to fake or incorrect voter registrations in the draft list can apply Form 7.
The commission has instructed BLOs to visit the homes of differently-abled and senior citizens who face difficulties reaching the special camps to collect application forms.

Every day after working hours, the concerned AEROs (Block and Urban Area Executives) will be personally responsible for segregating all received application forms assembly-wise and booth-wise and making them available to the concerned EROs, AEROs, and BLOs.
This will be processed according to the prescribed procedure. During this period, applicants can also submit documents and photos. Every applicant will be given an acknowledgement of their application.
