Bihar's Valmikinagar Airport Expansion: The much-awaited expansion work of Valmikinagar Airport has officially begun in Bihar’s Bagaha subdivision, sparking widespread excitement among local residents. Once operational, the new air service is expected to drastically cut travel time between Bagaha and major cities what currently takes around 12 hours by road will soon be a swift 1.5 to 2-hour flight. The development is being seen as a game-changer for connectivity and growth in the region.

Locals from Valmikinagar and nearby areas have welcomed the move, expressing hope that air connectivity will revitalise the region’s trade and economy. Many believe that the introduction of flights will not only link Bagaha to national and international markets but also improve road transport infrastructure in the area, as reported by Jagran.com.

The airport expansion promises to make transporting goods quicker and more efficient. For traders who often wait days to send or receive shipments by road, air cargo will cut down the time to mere hours offering a much-needed boost to commerce and local industries.
