Lalu Family Feud: RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's daughter Rohini Acharya made her first comment after quitting politics and disowning her family, saying she was ousted from the family. Naming three persons - RJD MP Sanjay Yadav, someone Rameez and Tejashwi Yadav, she said they called themselves 'Chanakya' but now they are not ready to take responsibility after the debacle of the party.

"I have no family. Ask Sanjay, Rameez, and Tejashwi Yadav. They are the ones who removed me from the family because they don’t want to take responsibility... The entire country is asking why the party has reached this state," she said while speaking to reporters in Patna.

Acharya, a doctor by qualification, who chose to become a homemaker and settled with her Singapore-based husband, entered politics last year and unsuccessfully contested the Lok Sabha elections 2024 from the Saran seat.

Hours ago she wrote on X, "I am quitting politics and I am disowning my family" This is what Sanjay Yadav and Rameez had asked me to do, and I am taking all the blame. It was not clear from Acharya's post what exactly Sanjay Yadav and Rameez had said to her. The two were not available for comments either.

Rohini Acharya Donated Her Kidney To Lalu

Acharya received all-around applause after she donated a kidney to her ailing father a few years ago. It was speculated that she was "unhappy" over the expulsion of Tej Pratap Yadav, elder son of Prasad, from the party. However, during the assembly elections, she was seen campaigning for Tejashwi.

Lalu Family Dispute

A day after a massive debacle in the Bihar Assembly elections, RJD witnessed a bitter feud in party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's family. She named two persons - Sanjay Yadav and Rameez in her cryptic tweet, holding them responsible for the poor show of the party. She is not the only person who has a dispute with party MP Sanjay Yadav. RJD expelled leader Tej Pratap Yadav to hold Sanjay Yadav responsible for his ousting from the family and party. Tej Pratap often calls him a 'Jaichand' - a traitor.
