Nitish Kumar Oath-Taking Ceremony:  After defying anti-incumbency, the NDA under Nitish Kumar has won a landslide victory and is on the verge of forming the government. As Nitish Kumar is set to take oath as Bihar CM, the buzz is around the picture of the new Cabinet as speculations are rife over the induction of some new faces.

Preparations for the swearing-in ceremony of Nitish Kumar have been completed at Gandhi Maidan in the capital, Patna. Along with him, the Deputy Chief Minister and some ministers are also expected to take the oath. Meanwhile, discussions have begun regarding who will represent North Bihar.

Various formulas are being put forward for finalising the names of ministers, and many equations are also being discussed. According to a report by Jagran.com, the cabinet size will be kept small for now. The cabinet will be expanded after the end of Kharmas, i.e., after the Dahi-Chuda festival. All equations will be worked out at that time.

The report suggests that the focus is on North Bihar, and three faces are the frontrunners from the region.

Vijay Chaudhary, Maheshwari Prasad in the race

As far as North Bihar is concerned, the names of Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Maheshwar Hazari from Samastipur are emerging from the JDU quota. Of these, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary may take the oath today. Similarly, Madan Sahni, MLA from Darbhanga, is also under consideration.

From the BJP's quota, the names of Raju Kumar Singh, MLA from Sahebganj in Muzaffarpur, Sanjay Sarawagi from Darbhanga, and Renu Devi from West Champaran are being discussed. However, some surprising names are also being discussed.

Rama Nishad may get place in Cabinet

These names include Rama Nishad, who reached the Assembly for the first time from Aurai in Muzaffarpur, Gayatri Devi, who was elected for the third consecutive time from the Parihar seat in Sitamarhi, and Ranjan Kumar, who was elected from the city Assembly seat in Muzaffarpur.

All of them belong to different social classes. The BJP is expected to consider this strategy to settle the case equation. The third biggest alliance partner, LJP-RV, may make its Legislative Party leader, Raju Tiwari, a minister today.
