Panic gripped the Maulinagar area under the Bihta police station on Wednesday morning after the body of a young man was discovered near Chunauti Kuan on the main Bahpura-Bihta road. The discovery drew a large crowd of local residents and sparked immediate police intervention.

Victim Identification And Timeline

Upon reaching the scene, the Bihta police took possession of the body and commenced an investigation. The deceased has been identified as Jitendra Kumar (popularly known as Makho), son of Chandeshwar Rai and a resident of Narayanpur.

Disappearance: According to the family, Jitendra left his home on Tuesday evening, stating he was going to meet friends.

Discovery: When he failed to return late into the night, his family began a frantic search. The search ended tragically on Wednesday morning when villagers spotted his body by the roadside and alerted the authorities.

Family Allegations

Following the identification of the body, a mournful silence descended upon Narayanpur village. The grieving family has leveled serious allegations regarding the death:

They claim Jitendra was murdered by some of his own friends.

They allege the perpetrators dumped the body in a deserted location near ChunautiKuan to destroy evidence before fleeing.

The family has demanded the immediate arrest of the accused and strict legal action against them.

Police Investigation And Action

The Bihta police are treating the case with high priority and have stated that preliminary findings point to murder.

Forensics: The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Surveillance: Police are reviewing footage from CCTV cameras installed near the crime scene to identify the culprits and reconstruct the sequence of events.

Interrogation: Family members and acquaintances of the deceased are actively being questioned.
