Development work at the Khemnichak metro station, part of the ambitious Patna Metro project, is progressing steadily with a strict focus on technical standards. Construction activity is currently centered on ensuring the station remains strong, safe, and reliable for long-term use, reinforcing the project's commitment to "zero compromise" on quality.
Focus On Structural Integrity
At present, engineers are placing special emphasis on the Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) components at the station. Critical structural rectification work is being carried out to ensure the building's durability.
Gusset Plates And Cleats: The team is currently rectifying PEB gusset plates and improving PEB cleats. These components are vital for connecting beams and columns, ensuring the overall strength and stability of the station's framework.
SCO Parameters: Work on SCO parameter making is also in progress to enhance the precision and technical quality of the construction.
Building A Safe Future
According to project officials, while these corrective and structural works may be "silent efforts" that are not immediately visible to the average commuter, they form the backbone of the system's safety. These foundational efforts are designed to ensure smooth, comfortable, and safe travel for passengers once the metro becomes operational, ultimately transforming the urban transport system in Patna.
