Due to the swearing-in ceremony, extensive changes have been made to traffic routes in and around the Gandhi Maidan area. The traffic police have issued a special plan for vehicle movement. People are advised to avoid taking vehicles to Gandhi Maidan and its surrounding areas and use alternative routes.
Exemptions
The following are exempted from restrictions:
- Fire brigade
- Ambulance
- Hearse
- Vehicles related to patients
Route Diversions And Restrictions
Closures towards Gandhi Maidan:
Bhattacharya Intersection: Movement towards North Gandhi Maidan will be stopped.
Police Line T-Junction: Movement towards Gandhi Maidan will be stopped.
Thakurwadi Mod & Bakarganj Mod: Vehicles will not be allowed to proceed towards Gandhi Maidan.
Nearby Hotels: No vehicle will be allowed to proceed towards Gandhi Maidan from the turnings at Hotel Panache, Twin Tower and Maurya Hotel.
Other Specific Road Closures:
SP Verma Road: Complete ban on entry from New Dakbungalow.
Ramgulam Chowk: Movement towards JP Golambar will be stopped.
Budhmarg Area:
- Routes leading east from Budhmarg to Chhajjubagh TN Banerjee Path will remain closed.
- Route from Kotwali T-junction on Budhmarg to the Police Line T-junction will remain closed.
- New Police Centre: Route from Gate No. 01 to Bank Road will remain closed.
- Ashok Rajpath: Vehicle movement restricted from Jamun Gali Mod towards the west (Kargil Chowk).
Diversions:
Dakbungalow Intersection: All vehicles will be diverted towards Rajendra Path via New Dakbungalow.
Airport Route:
Passengers travelling to the airport should use Jagdev Path.

Parking And Stopping Guidelines
Strictly Prohibited Areas:
No Parking or Handcarts or Food Stalls: On the road between JP Golambar, Dakbungalow intersection, and Patna Junction Golambar.
No Parking or Entry: From Ramgulam Chowk along the entire Exhibition Road.
Gandhi Maidan: No parking or entry around or inside the grounds.
Authorised Parking Arrangements:
Office Employees (Gandhi Maidan Area): Permitted to park on Bans Ghat Road or under the Double Decker Bridge on Ashok Rajpath.
Buses from JP Setu: To be parked on one flank of the Gangapath from the Commissioner's Office Golambar to Kangan Ghat.

Medical And Emergency Arrangements
On-Site: Medical teams, life-saving medicines, and ambulances will be stationed at the main gates of Gandhi Maidan for emergencies.
High Alert: The nearby Tara Hospital and Ruban Hospital have been placed on high alert.
Referrals: If necessary, patients will be sent to PMCH, NMCH or IGIMS.
