Adani Ports Share Price: Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) shares rose more than 7% during the early trade on Monday amid strong quarterly results, positive operational updates, and a positive outlook for the next fiscal year propelled the rally. At around 11:30 am, the Adani Group stock was trading at Rs Rs 1,356.70 on NSE, surging 7.07 per cent against the previous day's closing price of Rs 1,267.10.
As a result of this increase, the company's market capitalisation came close to Rs 2.85 lakh crore, making it the day's biggest gainer among the Adani Group stocks.
Strong Metrics In April
APSEZ reported handling 37.5 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo in its April 2025 business update, a 4% YoY increase. A 21% YoY increase in container volumes and an 8% YoY increase in liquid and gas cargo drove growth.

The company also saw significant expansion in its logistics segment, with rail volumes up 17% YoY to 57,751 TEUs, and GPWIS volumes up 4% YoY at 1.8 MMT.
Results for Q4FY25 Improve Attitude
Adani Ports reported a 50% YoY increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 3,023 crore in the March 2025 quarter, while operating revenue increased 23% YoY to Rs 8,488 crore. Operating efficiency was demonstrated by the company's EBITDA, which increased 24% YoY to Rs 5,006 crore.
Brokerage Nuvama Institutional Equities kept its "Buy" recommendation on the stock, pointing to the logistics and marine industries' strong growth prospects. With a target price of Rs 1,810, the company is pointing to more growth.
Adani Enterprises, the group's flagship company, increased 3.5% to Rs 2,372.85, reflecting the rally in Adani Ports. Despite an 8% YoY decline in revenues to Rs 26,966 crore, the company reported a 753% YoY increase in Q4 net profit to Rs 3,845 crore. For FY25, it also announced a dividend of Rs 1.30 per share.
