Bank Holidays In November 2023: With the festive month on our doors, with prominent festivals such as Diwali, Chhath and more the RBI has released the list of Bank Holidays for November 2023. In the month of festivals, the bank will remain closed for 15 days, that is almost half of it. According to RBI, some of these bank holidays are restricted to certain regions while as others are applicable throughout the country.

Notably, RBI classifies all bank holidays into three categories - Holidays Under the Negotiable Instruments Act, Banks' Closing of Accounts, and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday. Customers must know that even though the physical operations will be shut during the mentioned days, people can still use the online or internet banking facilities.

List Of Bank Holidays In November 2023:

1 November (Wednesday): Kannada Rajyotsava/Karva Chauth (Karnataka, Manipur, and Himachal Pradesh)

Sunday, 5 November: Weekend

Friday, 10 November: Wangala Festival (Meghalaya)

Saturday, 11 November: Weekend

Sunday, 12 November: Weekend

Monday, 13 November: Govardhan Pooja (Tripura, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Manipur, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra)

Tuesday, 14 November: Diwali (Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Sikkim)

Wednesday, 15 November: Bhaidooj (Sikkim, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal, and Himachal Pradesh).

Sunday, 19 November: Weekend, Chhath 

Monday, 20 November: Chhath Puja (Bihar and Rajasthan)

Thursday, 23 November: Seng Kutsnem/Egaas-Bagwaal (Uttarakhand and Sikkim)
