Bhel Share Today: BHEL's share price fell by around 8% after Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), India's biggest public-sector engineering and manufacturing firm, reported a loss in the fourth quarter of FY24. The stock opened at Rs 305 against its previous closing price of Rs 319.20 and fell by nearly 7.6 percent to reach Rs 295. However, the stock soon began to recover, and at around 11:34 AM, it was trading at Rs 304.60, down 5.62 percent on NSE.
One year's return four times BHEL's share price has observed solid growth this year compared to last year. In the past year, it has surged by 278 percent. Meanwhile, the stock jumped to Rs 319.20 from Rs 79.30 level. BHEL's share price touched its 52-week high of Rs 322.35 in the last session on May 21, 2024. Its 52-week low is Rs 77.30, which was reached on May 29 last year.

BHEL Q4 results
BHEL reported its fourth-quarter results after the market closed on Tuesday, May 21. The firm reported a 25.6 percent year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit in the last quarter at Rs 489.6 crore, in comparison with a profit of Rs 658 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company's revenue from operations increased marginally by 0.4 percent to Rs 8,260 crore in the quarter under review, in comparison with Rs 8,227 crore in the year-ago period. Earnings before EBITDA increased 30.6 percent to Rs 728 crore, in comparison with Rs 1,049 crore in the same period last year. Margin came down to 8.8 percent, which was 12.8 percent in the year-ago period. The firm announced a final dividend of 25 paise per share for FY2024.
