Steps to check the purity of gold: Purchasing gold is considered to be extremely fortunate in Indian tradition, especially on the occasion of Diwali and Dhanteras because we Indians consider Gold as a symbol of wealth and prosperity. However, It is extremely important to determine the purity of gold before purchasing it during the festive season because the chances of falling into any fraud can be high these days. To avoid any sort of fraud, gold jewellery with a hallmark mark should just be bought from reliable jewellers. Below are some easy techniques to use to identify genuine gold.
How many Karats does pure gold have?

Gold jewellery and other items are normally made with 14 to 22-karat gold, which contains a maximum of 91.6 per cent gold. Metals including silver, copper, and zinc are additionally added to provide strength to gold jewellery items. As a result, always check the carat before purchasing gold.
