TDS: Tax Deducted at Source on Salary (TDS) is the tax withheld by the company while paying the employee's salary. As a result, your company holds your money and deposits it with the government on your behalf. If the TDS withheld is more than the actual tax payable by the employer, a TDS refund claim should be filed.
TDS will be refunded to individuals whose financial statements at the beginning of the year are less than the proof of investment provided at the end of the year or an employee who does not fall into the income tax slab. If you file your income tax return as soon as possible, you can get your TDS refund.
