Gold Rate Today: The Gold's future contract for June 5 price soared on Monday to hit a fresh record high on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) to 96,470 in early trade. At around 11:05 am, the gold future contract was trading at Rs 96,485 per 10 grams, surging 1.29% against the previous day's closing price. Silver, meanwhile, rose over 0.50 per cent on the MCX. At the time of writing, the metal was trading at Rs 95,630, hitting an intraday high of Rs 96,818 per kg.

According to GoodReturns, the 22k gold price today in India is Rs 90,150 per 10 grams, while the rate is Rs 98,350 per 10 grams for 24 karat gold. At the same time, the rate for 18k gold is Rs 73,760 per 10 grams.
