Gold Price Today: The gold rates in India took a plunge after the festive session came to an end. At around 9:30 am, the gold was trading at Rs 75,460, up 0.14 per cent against the previous day's closing price on Multi Commodity Exchange, a commodity exchange platform. The price of gold soared over 80,000 thousand In the festive season- during Diwali and Dhnateras. In the commodity platforms, the rate of gold keeps changing the whole day, tracking the demand and supply of the yellow metal. However, in the retail market the gold trades at the same rate for any given day.
