Gold Price Today: The rate of gold in India surged significantly on November 18, after being on a declining path the past week. At around 9:44 am, On the Multi Commodity Index (MCX) the rate of gold was trading at Rs 76,640, up 0.94 per cent from the previous day's closing value. The gold price rallied over Rs 80,000 thousand During the festive season and then it took a sharp plunge of over 5% in the last 10 days. The gold rate keeps changing on the commodity exchange platform the whole day, given the demand and supply of the precious metal. However, the gold rate remains same for the any given day in the retail market.
Gold Rate On November 18, 2024 In India
The rate of gold in India on November 18 has gone up a bit but it remains low compared to prices during the festive season. The rate of 22-karat gold today in India is Rs 69,950 per 10 grams, while for 24 karats the gold price is Rs 76,310. Meanwhile, the rate of gold for 18 karats stands at Rs 57,230 per 10 grams. In the retail market, the rate of gold keeps changing every day. Checking it, before buying can be a good move.
