Gold price Today:  The future gold price on Monday i.e. December 23 fell a bit on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). At around 9:42 am, the future rate of gold was trading at Rs 76,392, down 0.03% compared to last day's closing price. The gold rate has been volatile for the past 2 months, earlier, in October, the gold prices skyrocketed due to the festive season, however, the price fell significantly post festivals. Later this month, due to the commencement of the wedding session, the rate of gold picked up momentum and later it witnessed a decline. 

Gold Rate in India on December 23, 2024

The gold rate in the retail market on December 23, remained kind of flat compared to the previous day's price. The rate of 22k gold in India today is Rs 71,000 per 10 grams, while, the gold price for 24-karat gold is Rs 77,450. Meanwhile,  the gold price for 18 karat is Rs 58,090 per 10 grams.  You should be aware that the rate of gold keeps changing in the retail market every day, so, checking the latest price on your city before buying can be a good move.
