MCX Gold, Silver Rate Today: The Bullion prices soared high in early trade on March 25, breaking days of losing streak, amid a decline in crude prices and signs of some easing in the Middle East crisis. In the domestic market, gold futures--April 2 expiry-- rallied over Rs 5,500 to a high of Rs 1,44,434 per 10 grams as compared to last day's closing of Rs 1,38,912. Similarly, Silver futures, May 5 expiry, soared Rs 13,200 to 2,37,169 per kilogram against last day's closing of Rs 2,23,941.

At the time of writing, MCX Silver was trading at 2,36,527, up Rs 12,586, up 5.62 per cent. MCX Gold was quoted at Rs 1,44,272, up Rs 5,360 or 3.86 per cent.

Gold and Silver Rate In International Market

The gold and silver rates picked up momentum in the international market as well. Last seen, COMEX Gold was trading at $4,568.40 per ounce, up $166.40 or 3.78 per cent. COMEX Silver was quoted at $73.57, up $4 or 5.75 per cent.

24k, 22k Gold Rates In India

The gold rates for different purity levels surged significantly in the retail market as well. The 24 karat gold rate today in India is Rs 1,44,940 per 10 grams, while the 22 karat gold rate today is Rs 1,32,862 per 10 grams. The 20 karat gold rate today is Rs 1,20,783 per 10 grams, while the 18 karat gold rate is Rs 1,08,705 per 10 grams.
