MCX Gold Silver Rate Today: The bullion prices fell on Monday after profit booking, following days of gaining momentum. The Gold Futures contract (April expiry) fell over Rs 2,000 in early trade to Rs 1,56,001 per 10 grams on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as compared to last day's closing of Rs 1,58,066.

Similarly, Silver's futures contract (March expiry) declined over Rs 5,700 in early trade to Rs 2,56,864 per kilogram on MCX against last session's closing of Rs 2,62,620.

At the time of writing, MCX Silver was trading at Rs 2,57.379, down 5,241 or 2 per cent. MCX Gold was at Rs 1,57,400, down Rs 666 or 0.42 per cent.

"MCX Gold futures are trading near the Rs 1,55,000–Rs 1,60,000 zone, following consolidation after the sharp correction from all-time highs around Rs 1,80,000–Rs 1,81,000. The broader uptrend structure remains supportive, with prices holding above important long-term support zones," said Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.

Gold and Silver Rates in the International Market

The bullion prices declined in the international market amid caution around the announcement of key US macroeconomic data. At the time of writing, the COMEX Gold was at $5,053.30, down $26.10 or 0.51 per cent. Meanwhile, COMEX Silver was at $81.025, down $1.20 or 1.47 per cent.

24k, 22k Gold Rate In India

The 24 karat gold rate in India today is Rs 1,57,700 per 10 grams, while the 22 karat gold price today is Rs 1,44,558 per 10 grams.

At the same time 20 karat gold rate in India today is Rs 1,31,417 per 10 grams, while the 18 karat gold rate is Rs 1,18,275 per 10 grams.
