Bullion Rates Today: Gold and Silver prices in the national and international futures market inched higher amid heightening geopolitical tension and stable crude prices. Gold futures, June 5 expiry, rose over Rs 2,000 to an early high of Rs 1,53,699 per 10 grams as compared to the last closing of Rs 1,51,671 on Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX). Similarly, Silver futures, May 5 expiry, escalated over Rs 4,700 to a high of Rs 2,49,423 per kilogram against the previous session's closing of Rs 2,44,701 on MCX.
At the time of writing, the MCX Silver was trading at Rs 248696, up Rs 3,995 or 1.63 per cent from the last closing. MCX Gold was quoted at 1,53,155, up Rs 1,484 or 0.98 per cent.
MCX Gold is trading above the Rs 1,53,000 level with emerging buying interest at lower levels, while prices continue to remain in a consolidation phase within a defined range. A sustained move above Rs 1,55,000 could revive momentum toward Rs 1,57,000-Rs 1,58,000. On the downside, a break below Rs 1,52,000 may lead to a corrective move toward Rs 1,51,000-Rs 1,50,000 and further to Rs 1,48,000," said Ponmudi R, CEO Enrich Money.
Gold and Silver Rate In International Market
The precious metal prices escalated in the international market, too. At the time of writing, COMEX Gold was trading at $4,7773 per ounce, up $53.40 or 1.13 per cent. COMEX Silver was quoted at $77.945, up $1.45 or 1.90 per cent.

24k, 22k Gold Rates In India
The yellow metal rates for different purity levels jumped a bit in the domestic retail market as well. The 24 karat gold rate today in India is Rs 1,53,560 per 10 grams, while the 22 karat gold rate today is Rs 2,40,763 per 10 grams.
At the same time, the 20 karat gold rate today is Rs 1,27,967 per 10 grams, and the 18 karat gold rate is Rs 1,15,170 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, Silver's rate in the domestic retail market is Rs 2,49,850 per kilogram.
