MCX Gold, Silver Price Today: The bullion prices continued the gaining momentum amid concern around escalating tension between Iran and the United States and sustained buying interest. The Gold futures (April expiry) rose nearly Rs 4,000 in early trade to a high of Rs 1,60,600 per 10 grams on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as compared to the previous session's closing of Rs 1,56,876.

Similarly, Silver futures (March expiry) surged over Rs 15,900 to a high of Rs 2,68,875 per kilogram on MCX as compared to last day's closing of Rs 2,52,944.

At the time of writing, MCX silver was at Rs 2,65,321 per kilogram, up Rs 12,377 pr 4.89 per cent, while MCX Gold was doing business at Rs 1,59,450, up Rs 2,574 or 1.64 per cent.

Experts' Technical View On MCX Gold

"MCX Gold futures are trading near the Rs 1,55,000–Rs 1,62,000 zone, following consolidation after the sharp correction from all-time highs around Rs 1,80,000–Rs 1,81,000. While prices are currently consolidating in the short term near current levels, the broader uptrend structure remains supportive, with prices holding above important long-term support zones. Strong buying interest is seen in the Rs 1,45,000–Rs 1,50,000 support area," said Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.

24k, 22k Gold Price In India Today

The gold prices rose in the domestic retail market as well. The 24 karat gold price today is Rs 1,59,940 per 10 grams, while the 22 karat gold rate today is Rs 1,46,612 per 10 grams.

At the same time, the 20 karat gold rate today in India is Rs 1,33,283 per 10 grams and 18 karat gold price today is Rs 1,19,955 per 10 grams.
