Change SBI and PNB bank branches using banking
SBI and PNB customers can change their home branch with the help of internet banking. To change the home branch, the account holder must have an Internet Banking user ID and password if the customer is not using the net banking facility. He needs to visit the bank and get net banking started.
How to change bank branches in SBI
If you are an SBI account holder, then to change the home branch, first of all, you have to
- visit SBI website www.onlinesbi.com
- Log in to Internet Banking
- Find the option of e-service and click on it
- Here on the left side, you have to open the Transfer of Savings Account section under the Quick Links tab.
- A new page will open in front of you.
- Select the savings account to be the transfer option.
- If you have only one savings account in SBI then it will be automatically selected.
- Next, enter the code of the branch to which you want to transfer your account and click on the option of Get Branch Name. You will have the name of the branch on your screen.
- Read the rules and regulations on the next page.
- To submit the request, you will have to fill in all information correctly.
- Next, You will receive a message on your mobile number, Enter the code
- You have completed your request. Now your home branch will change in a few days.
How to change the home branch of a PNB account?
PNB customers can request for branch change through Internet Banking. Log in to tet banking on PNB's official website and find and select the option of other services. You will see the option of Change Home Branch, select it and fill in our account details. Then you can change your home branch by selecting the branch ID. Your home branch will be changed within a few days after submitting your request.
