The shares of small-cap jewellery stock PC Jeweller surged over 5 per cent for the second consecutive day on Friday after the company shared fresh updates on its bank debt resolution. The shares of the Delhi-based jewellery company started the session higher at Rs 14.15 amid positive momentum in the stock market. Continuing the gaining momentum, the stock hit the intraday high at Rs 14.97, up 7.5 per cent (till 2:40 PM) from the last closing of Rs 13.91 on BSE. 

The stock was in action on Thursday as well; it closed at Rs 13.91, rising 5.78 per cent.

Why PC Jeweller Stock Is in Action?

In an exchange filing, the company announced that all mortgaged assets, securities, personal and corporate guarantees, and undertakings provided to its consortium of lenders have been fully released. It said that the original title deeds have also been returned to the respective title holders.

“We are pleased to inform that all the mortgaged assets of the Company and the personal and corporate guarantors have been released, and the original title deeds have been handed over to the relevant title holders. Further, all the charges, securities, guarantees (personal as well as corporate) and undertakings provided by the Company and the personal and corporate guarantors also stand fully released now,” PC Jeweller said in an exchange filing. 

“With this, all the necessary formalities with respect to the clearance of outstanding debt stand closed,” the filing added.

Q2 Growth: 28 per cent revenue growth in Q2 FY27

The company said that its consolidated revenue surged 28% year-over-year in Q2 FY27, driven by strong consumer demand during the July–September period.

During the quarter, the company officially achieved debt-free status by clearing all outstanding bank loans ahead of schedule. Eliminating interest expenses will fortify its balance sheet and significantly boost future profitability.
