Powercia IPO: Power solutions provider Powerica on Wednesday fixed a price band at Rs 375-395 per share for its Rs 1,100 crore initial public offering (IPO), which will open for public subscription between March 24 and March 27.

The initial share sale is a combination of fresh issue and offer for sale from existing shareholders. According to the Red Herring Prospectus, the company offers fresh shares worth Rs 700 crore and offers for sale (OFS) of shares worth Rs 300 crore.

The total IPO size has been reduced to Rs 1,000 crore from Rs 1,400 crore proposed in the draft documents submitted in August 2025. The size of the OFS has been reduced from the previous Rs 700 crore. Naresh Oberoi Family Trust and Kabir and Kimaya Family Private Trust are the shareholders offloading shares under OFS.

Powerica IPO Details

The IPO will conclude on March 27, while bidding for anchor investors will take place on March 23, the company announced.

Powerica shares will make their stock market debut on April 2.

The company has reserved half of the issue size for qualified institutional buyers, while 35 per cent of the shares are reserved for retail investors. The remaining 15 per cent is reserved for non-institutional investors.

Fund To Be Utilised For Debt Payment

Of the newly issued amounts, Rs. 525 crore will be used to reduce the company’s debt and for some general corporate purposes. According to the Red Herring Prospectus, the total debt of the company as on September 30, 2025, was Rs. 571.95 crore.

This is Powercia's second attempt to go public. In 2019, the Power Solution provider submitted draft documents to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), but the plans were shelved. The company is an integrated energy solutions provider specialising in diesel generator sets (DG sets), medium speed large generators (MSLGs), and related services.

The company operates three manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru, Silvassa (Dadra and Nagar Haveli); and Khopli (Maharashtra).
