Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar to stimulate mutually beneficial academic activities on November 24, 2025. This strategic MoU aims to strengthen SEBI’s digital forensic capabilities through consultancy‑driven infrastructure and specialised laboratories in cyber security, digital forensics and forensic accounting.
The MoU was signed by NFSU Campus Director Prof (Dr) S O Junare and SEBI Chief General Manager Anindya Kumar Das.
Prof (Dr) S O Junare, Campus Director, NFSU said that under the visionary leadership of Padma Shri Awardee, Dr J M Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU this important collaboration will work for building SEBI officers’ expertise in digital forensics, cyber security, and allied fields through tailored training. To strengthen the capabilities of SEBI in digital forensics by developing or providing consultancy to develop state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities at SEBI, Mumbai or at any other place as per the requirement of SEBI.
During the MoU Signing Ceremony, C D Jadeja, Executive Registrar-NFSU; Satyajit Jaware, DGM-SEBI; Deans and Associate Deans of various schools were also present.
