SUV Price: Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra have reduced the prices of their SUV models in order to stimulate demand. Tata Motors has lowered the starting prices of its flagship SUVs, Harrier (Rs 14.99 lakh) and Safari (Rs 15.49 lakh), and extended benefits of up to Rs 1.4 lakh on other popular SUV variants.
"With regards to electric vehicles, never before seen benefits on the Nexon. ev (up to Rs 1.3 lakh), have made it the most accessible it has ever been," Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Chief Commercial Officer Vivek Srivatsa said in a statement.
He went on to say that Punch. ev is also being offered with a bonus of up to Rs 30 lakh.
Mahindra & Mahindra stated that the fully loaded AX7 range of the XUV700 now starts at Rs 19.49 lakh, a price reduction of more than Rs 2 lakh. She added that lowering prices will make it possible for more people to try the range.
Prior to this, the BJP-led Uttar Pradesh government announced the exemption of powerful hybrid cars from registration tax, which is seen as a major boost to the hybrid car market. The Yogi Adityanath government stated in a circular that the policy of 100% exemption in registration fees for powerful hybrid vehicles will be implemented immediately.
Maruti Suzuki, Honda Cars, and Toyota Kirloskar Motor will benefit greatly from the new policy, and at the same time, customers will also save up to Rs 3.5 lakh on heavy-duty hybrid vehicles.
