Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024 News Update: In the ongoing Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Chairman Mukesh Ambani committed a lot of investment in the state. Below are Reliance's 'five key commitments' for Gujarat that Ambani made during the address at the inaugural Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) in Gandhinagar on Wednesday.
One-third of overall Reliance's investment went to Gujarat in the last 10 years.
“Over the past 10 years, Reliance has invested over ₹12 lakh crore in building world-class assets and capabilities across India. A third of this has been invested in Gujarat alone," Ambani said.

Reliance Five major commitment to Gujarat
- Reliance Industries Limited will set up India's first carbon fibre facility at Hazira, making Gujarat a 'leader in a renewable and circular economy'.
- To help Gujarat achieve 50% of the state's energy needs through renewable energy by 2030, the RIL has initiated the development of the Dhirubai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex on 5,000 acres in Jamnagar. The green-energy facility will be launched in the second half of the year.
- To support farmers Reliance Retail will bring 'quality products' to the state.
- Reliance's '5G-enabled artificial intelligence (AI) revolution' will create jobs in the state with 'faster 5G rollout' anywhere in the world.
- India will bid for the 2036 Olympics and Reliance will invest in Gujarat in this regard.
