Crude Oil Price Today: After easing for a few days following US President Donald Trump announced halting military strike on Iran's energy infrastructures amid ongoing talks between the two nations, the crude Oil prices rose significantly on Thursday after Iran refused any direct negotiations with the United States.
At the time of writing, the Brent Crude was up near 1.5 per cent to $103.88 per barrel. WTI Crude was up nearly 2 per cent to $91.99 per barrel. The development indicates a renewed uncertainty around the oil and energy supply chain from the Gulf region.
Earlier, the US President announced on Truth Social that he paused the plan to attack Iran's power infrastructure for five days as there was a negotiation happening between the tow nation.
Trump threatened to attack Iran's power plants if Tehran did not fully open the Strait of Hormuz.
The statement came as a sign of ease in war, prompting a massive rally in the world's stock markets and a massive decline in crude prices. The Indian equity market had a massive uptick for the past two sessions amid broad-based buying interest.
Recently, the US president reiterated that Tehran is willing to make a deal "so badly," adding that they are afraid of regime change and being killed.
Meanwhile, Iran on Wednesday rejected a US proposal to end the war, saying it would "end the war" only on its own terms. A senior Iranian official familiar with the developments told Press TV that Washington's proposal was exaggerated.

"Iran will only end the war when it decides and when its conditions are met," the official said. He added that Tehran would continue to take defensive measures against the United States and vowed to deliver "heavy blows" until conditions were met.
