Afghanistan's dynamic spin duo, Allah Ghazanfar and Rashid Khan, unleashed a devastating bowling display to dismantle Bangladesh's batting lineup, securing a convincing 92-run victory. Chasing 236, Bangladesh's innings imploded, succumbing to a mere 143 runs as Ghazanfar claimed an impressive six-wicket haul. Bangladesh's batting order crumbled, losing a staggering eight wickets for a mere 23 runs.

The Afghan spinners' mastery proved too much for the Bangladeshi batters, who crumbled under the pressure. This dominant performance handed Afghanistan a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.

Defending a total of 235, Mohammad Nabi produced a fine ball to dismiss Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto and shatter a crucial partnership with Mehidy Hasan Miraz. Shanto had been instrumental in stabilizing the innings, forging two significant 50-plus stands for the second and third wickets.

However, Shanto's fall to Nabi's bowling sparked a dramatic collapse, unleashing a procession of wickets that Bangladesh couldn't recover from. Nabi's timely strike proved pivotal, paving the way for the opposition's spinners to take control and ultimately restrict Bangladesh to a modest total.

The final blow to Bangladesh's fading hopes came when Mushfiqur Rahman fell victim to Allah Ghazanfar's cunning carrom ball, which sharply turned away at the last moment, leaving the batsman stunned and stumped. This pivotal dismissal sealed Rahman's fate and crushed Bangladesh's resistance.

Ghazanfar then wrapped up the tail, dismissing Rishad Hossain and Taskin Ahmed in quick succession, securing his fifth and sixth wickets of the match. His mesmerizing spell ultimately bowled out Bangladesh for a paltry 143, handing Afghanistan a resounding 92-run victory. Ghazanfar's 6-wicket haul was the cornerstone of Afghanistan's dominance.

Earlier, Afghanistan won the toss and opted to bat first. Mohammad Nabi and Hashmatullah Shahidi stabilised the innings after early wickets to help the Afghanistan national cricket team reach 235.

Afghanistan's batting lineup got off to a disastrous start, stumbling to 35/4 in the early stages of the innings. This crippling collapse set the tone for the remainder of their batting effort, making it challenging for the team to regain momentum.

Although some late-order batsmen showed resilience, Afghanistan ultimately fell short of a commanding total, being bowled out for 235 runs in 49.4 overs. Despite this modest score, the team's bowlers would go on to produce an impressive turnaround, defending their total with aplomb.
