Ashes 2025: Steve Smith is quite feisty. If anyone tries to provoke him, then he will reply with his performance, and this is what happened in the third session on day 4 at the Gabba. The Australian captain was seen getting involved in a heated argument with England's star fast bowler Jofra Archer, and he replied to him by smashing a four and a six in his over. The incident happened in the ninth over of the second innings.
Smith had hit a four on the first ball of Archer's over, and then Jofra bowled him a bouncer, and that left Smith clueless. Post that both Archer and Smith were seen getting involved in a heated exchange, and then Smith smashed him another four.
Archer got annoyed by this four, and he then once again said something to Smith. And after that, Smith then smashed a six on the fourth ball of the over.
