Asia Cup 2025: The Indian Cricket Team became the first side to secure a spot in the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup 2025 from Group A after the United Arab Emirates (UAE) celebrated their first victory of the tournament by beating Oman by 42 runs in Abu Dhabi on Monday. This outcome not only kept the UAE in the running for the next round but also officially eliminated Oman, which fell to their second consecutive loss.
Suryakumar Yadav’s side, which kicked off their campaign with a strong win against the UAE before overpowering Pakistan by seven wickets on Sunday, was practically guaranteed to move forward. However, the UAE's victory confirmed that India would advance with two wins from their two matches in Group A.
