IND vs AUS: Anthony Albanese, who is Australia's Prime Minister, was seen hosting the Indian and Australian teams on 1st January, before the fifth and the last Test match in Sydney. He took to his official social media account and posted pictures of this meeting, where players of both teams were seen getting clicked with the Australian PM.

In these pictures, Anthony was trying to show something to Virat Kohli on his phone and then they were seen laughing. Australia skipper Pat Cummins was then seen talking to the crowd whereas former Australia cricketer Glenn McGrath then gave a pink cap from his McGrath foundation to Anthony Albanese.

The fifth and the last Test match in Sydney is quite special as 'Jane McGrath Day' would be celebrated on the third day of the match. It should be noted here that Jane was McGrath's former wife, who passed away owing to breast cancer in 2008. In 2005, both Jane and McGrath started this foundation, whose main aim is to raise funds for breast care nurses in Australia's regional areas. This foundation is also trying to spread awareness about breast cancer to young women.

On the third day of the fifth Test match at the SCG, fans would be donning pink clothes to spread awareness about breast cancer and millions of dollars have been raised for these patients. The Pat Cummins-led side would also be wearing a pink jersey whereas the Indian team would be wearing pink ribbons to show their support.

At the same time, the hosts are in the driver's seat in this Border-Gavaskar Trophy series and are leading by 2-1 with just one match remaining. Australia thrashed India during the fourth Test match by 184 runs and is currently leading the five-match series.

That's why the Men in Bue are under immense pressure to bounce back if they lose this match or end in a tie, then they will fail to defend their title, which they have been winning since 2017.
