IND vs AUS 4th Test: Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was quite agitated while standing at the slip cordon as opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was a sitter in the second session on the fourth day of the fourth Test match The dropped catch happened at an important juncture during the third innings, as Marnus Labuschagne, who was batting at 46, got an extra life.
Rohit, who generally stays calm, couldn't control his frustration and was seen punching in the air after that dropped catch. The Men in Blue were in the driver's seat as the hosts were tottering at 99/6 as Labschagne was about to get dismissed in Akash Deep's over. Jaiswal, who was standing at the gully, tried to take the catch with hard hands, but the balls slipped from his hands and fell on the ground.
He had dropped the second catch of the day. The first incident occurred during the third over of the third innings, where he dropped a catch to take Usman Khawaja's wicket, who was batting at 2. Jaiswal, who was standing at leg gully, couldn't react quickly to take Khawaja's catch. Khawaja took advantage of the situation and scored 19 more runs but Mohammed Siraj then took his wicket.
Labuschagne then brought up his third consecutive half-century. He played a huge role in helping the hosts bounce back by scoring half of the team's runs during the third session and taking the team's lead to more than 200 runs.
Things got from bad to worse for Jaiswal as he dropped another catch to take Pat Cummins' wicket during the last over before tea. Cummins had scored 20 runs after Jaiswal dropped that catch while standing at a silly point. Rohit was once again seen getting frustrated at the youngster.

Marnus Labuschagne and Pat Cummins stitched a gritty partnership of 44 runs for the seventh wicket.
Bumrah razes through the middle order
Amidst all these dropped catches, the Men in Blue's fielding got better after trailing by 105 runs. Nitish Kumar Reddy did score a brilliant knock of 114 runs and helped the team score 369 runs but the Indian bowlers rose to the occasion. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj had put up brilliant performances by taking Sam Konstas and Khawaja's wicket. Till lunch, the hosts were tottering at 53/2, where Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne were out there in the middle.
The partnership between them had put Australia in the driver's seat once again but Mohammed Siraj then bowled a brilliant delivery. Smith tried to play an expansive drive but the ball had hit the outside off stump and Rishabh Pant took an easy catch.
Jasprit Bumrah then bowled a brilliant spell and rattled Australia's middle-order. He dismissed batters like Travis Head (1), Alex Carey (2), and Mitchell Marsh (0) quickly and left the hosts reeling at 91/6. Australia lost four wickets and scored just 11 runs after Labuschagne got the extra life.
