AUS vs SCO: Australia's star batter Josh Inglis created history on Friday by hitting a 43-ball hundred and registering the fastest century in the shortest format by an Australian in the 2nd T20I against Scotland.

Scotland won the toss and chose to field first and had a flying start as Bradley Currie dismissed both Australian openers for a golden duck. But Inglis and Cameron Green helped the team bounce back by stitching a 92-run partnership. Inglis batted aggressively as he went all-guns-blazing since the beginning, whereas Green played the role of a second fiddle. Currie came back and broke the partnership but Inglis continued his heroics against the Scottish bowlers.

Inglis scored a brilliant innings as he brought up his second T20I century and also broke the record held by former Australian cricketers in T20Is. His knock of 100 runs off 43 balls was full of power of precision and also entertained the fans when he celebrated the feat. Although he did get out, his innings played a huge role in helping the team post a challenging target of 196/6.
